ROOM INTEGRITY TESTING
In order for it to function correctly, it is crucial to conduct room integrity testing during the initial system commissioning and at least annually.
Room integrity testing assesses if the room or enclosure with the fire suppression system is properly sealed. If a room is not properly sealed, the fire suppression agent may disperse too fast, preventing it from effectively cooling or extinguishing the fire. Ensuring that the room is not sealed too tightly is important because if the gaseous fire suppressant is activated, it could potentially damage the internal structure of the enclosure. It is crucial to maintain adequate room integrity.
